After returning to a lifelong love of Art through ceramics she was accepted onto an Applied Art Master’s Degree with Wolverhampton University. Completed with distinction and the Deans award September 2021.
Commenced teaching Art and vocational courses for 14 years in 1978 and joined Walsall Education Authority as an adviser up to 2007. This advisory role focussed on motivating young people, through creative and meaningful activities, to help them recognise the relevance and importance of school and qualifications to success in the world of work. Some of this inspiring activity continues through a self-employed business delivering motivational careers advice and guidance. Teaching remains a passion.
A lover of natural history, concern for the negative influences of the human species and an enthusiast for the life and influence of Charles Darwin is channelled into complex and intricate ceramic pieces.
Travel and adventure on her motorbike enrich an exciting and fulfilling life.
